It has been a really difficult year for many institutions. Our local churches were already struggling financially leading into the pandemic, but the last year has been particularly challenging, as restrictions have led to a drop in giving and an inability to engage in our usual fundraising activities. All the churches in our benefice have struggled, but especially our largest church, St Mary’s in Boxford.
In response, our Rector, Fr Rob had a post-lockdown tidy of his unruly hair and shaved his head as a little bit of fun to raise much needed funds towards the running of the beautiful church of St Mary’s in Boxford. With your help, we can ensure the Church continues to provide spiritual and pastoral support to the people of our villages long into the future.
