NO MATTER WHAT AGE YOU ARE, THE CHURCH IS THERE FOR YOU AND IT IS YOUR CHURCH.

At the Box River Benefice, we are doing all we can to make Children and Families feel welcome. We now run a CHILDREN’S CHURCH (Sunday School) and are exploring many other ways that we might begin to offer more things for children, families and youth. We are also working on a schedule of other events for the year ahead, so watch this space!

If you are interested in helping out or have some good ideas, then please do get in touch.

Families are always welcome in church and we would be delighted to see you any time.

During lockdown, we are making some videos and live streams in order to offer stimulating teaching and craft materials to help children and families engage whilst at home. Keep an eye on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/boxriverbenefice/

CHILDREN’S CHURCH (Sunday School)

EVERY 2nd AND 3rd SUNDAYS OF THE MONTH

Starts 10.50am at Mary’s House, Swan Street, Boxford. The children will have fun exploring key elements of Christian life and stories, doing crafts and exciting activities before returning to church for the end of the Sunday service and re-join their parents. This is a brilliant way to begin helping your child to see that their is more to life than the pressure to achieve – they will learn how they are valued and cherished for who they are and the special gifts each have been given.

CRAFTY CHURCH

EVERY 2nd TUESDAY OF THE MONTH

Fun and Games with meaning. Ideal to tip your toe in and discover a little more

ALL-AGE FAMILY SERVICES

EVERY 1st SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

These ALL-Age services take different forms, some weeks they will be in a Café Church style and other weeks they will be led from the front of the church. They always include children’s provision and offer a slightly more relaxed approach to church.

FAMILY EUCHARISTS

EVERY 4th SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

The Eucharist is the central act of every Christian community. Through it and in it we are united in a mystical way. This Family Eucharist service is designed especially to be ALL-Age and engage people of every demographic or age group. For those who wish to, young people are invited to come and stand around the Altar with the priest, who will talk to them about what is happening and why. A great service to bring the entire family to, old and young.
